Child Advocates’ Volunteer

Want to make a difference in a child’s life?

Child Advocates’ volunteers are assigned to the cases of child victims of life-threatening abuse or neglect who have been placed in protective custody.

Our volunteers contact case workers, interview parents, ensure necessary medical care, look out for educational interests, and make recommendations in court regarding the permanent placement of the child.

About Child Advocates
Child Advocates is a non-profit CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) organization and is the only agency contracted by the Marion County Courts to provide independent representation to abused and/or neglected children.

Child Advocates engages community volunteers and staff to protect children who are the victims of child abuse.  We are their voices in court, ensuring all children thrive in a safe and secure home.
