Top Two Reasons We Said Yes to Indy Redefined

When Achieve approached us with the opportunity to collaborate on Indy Redefined, well, we were mighty eager to say yes. For a lot of reasons–two of which we think will help you better understand the life behind this conference we’re really excited about.

Reason One

Achieve knows their stuff when it comes to reaching and working with Millennials – and they seriously impressed us with the MCON conference they hosted in Indy in 2013.

That energy sparked what we think is a pretty great idea: Let’s do a deeper dive into this stuff in Indy. Let’s spotlight the unsung heroes and efforts taking shape in our community around talent, culture, relationships and movements.

These guys obviously speak our language. And because of our high touch with the young professional community of Indianapolis, we saw ourselves in a unique position to partner on this idea.

Reason Two

We know a good opportunity when we see one. That may sound a bit mercenary, but we have to admit it’s true.

We’ve been describing Indy Redefined to our friends as a collection of conversations that focus on existing industries, and the big changes already happening within these cultures on a local, national and international scale.

So, in short, it’s about understanding and appreciating and figuring out how to benefit from the changes happening around our 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday-Friday worlds.

Don’t even try to tell us that’s not a big deal.

All of this, of course, plays nicely into the work we’ve been doing for and on behalf of the 20- to 30-somethings around Indianapolis for almost 10 years now.

If you don’t know about us, we hope you’ll introduce yourself at Indy Redefined (get that ticket!). In the meantime, you can get a feel for us on TwitterFacebookInstagram and LinkedIn.

We originally wrote this post for, and published it on, IndyRedefined.com.
