Museum by Moonlight benefits The Children’s Museum Fund

It’s nearly here, and Museum by Moonlight on February 10 is sure to be a great time. IndyHub has always enjoyed supporting this annual event that benefits The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and we’ve been known to provide a few tips and tricks to anyone is attending.

We’d like to take a minute to highlight the cause itself. While it’s obviously great fun and an awesome night out, the money from this event goes to a wonderful cause, benefiting The Children’s Museum Fund.

Recognizing that not all families can afford to provide experiences for their children because of admission costs, The Children’s Museum wants to make sure that all families, regardless of income or other factors, can experience and enjoy the museum.

The Access Pass provides a steeply discounted membership for any Hoosier family participating in SNAP, Hoosier Healthwise Insurance, and TANF. Every first Thursday and on a select few other holidays, the museum provides discounted and/or free admission to all. There’s also a wonderful program that provides free memberships to those in the six surrounding neighborhoods.

Learn more about their community programs and benefits here.

So what are you waiting for? Since last year, the American POP and DANCE! exhibits are new and you’ll definitely want to check those out. Explore all five floors with a drink in hand, making sure to stop along the way for delicious food samples.

Plus, knowing that your money will go towards a fund that helps all families enjoy the museum, you’re sure to have an even better time. Last minute tickets are still available for $85– grab a few friends and get yours before they sell out!
