Molly’s epic journey up I-70 to Indianapolis began in Terre Haute, Indiana where she was born and raised. She “cruised the ‘bash” but eventually graduated from Terre Haute North High School where she proudly served as the mascot, “The Patri-ette.” In time, she crossed Little Honey Creek to attend DePauw University where she donned the Tiger suit a couple of times, too. In 1998, she graduated with a double major in political science and communication and thankfully no Putnam County mug shots. A semester in Washington, D.C. spurred an interest in public policy and politics, and when she landed in Indianapolis in the fall of 1998, she found herself working in the office of Governor Frank O’Bannon.

Adrenaline junky that she is, Molly was hired by the Indiana Democratic Party in 1999 and worked her way up from multi-purpose girl to Deputy Campaign Manager for a U.S. senate campaign. One herniated disc later, she calmed her nerves as the Government Relations Liaison for Central Indiana Health Systems and St. Vincent Hospital until early 2002. Her political denouement came as Finance Director and Special Events Queen at the Indiana Democratic Party.

In May 2005, Molly landed her soul gig – helping the Indianapolis young professional community make its mark on our great city. A self-described cheerleader for her new hometown, Molly strives to make Indy Hub a resource for anyone looking to get involved in the city, develop their leadership potential, or find people who share a common passion.

Molly spends a little time in the mornings and evenings at Invoke Studio where she is a part time Pilates instructor.  She loves the atmosphere and most of all, the inspiration she is able to draw from her fellow instructors and the amazing clients she has the opportunity to work with.

On a personal note, Molly and her husband Adam enjoy spending time showing off Indianapolis to their friends from larger, dirtier, more expensive cities. They also have a wild-woman cat named Bug (who, according to Molly, has a complete grasp of the English language).
