    I’m a PR girl to my heart… I used to hate that expression “PR Girl,” because once I reached a certain age the term “girl” no longer fit me and I didn’t want to be referred to as anyone’s PR “girl.” Today, I use the term “PR Girl,” lovingly as I waive it goodbye and walk away from an industry I’ve known for all of my adult life.     The checkout dude at the grocery store didn’t card me today when I tried to buy wine and at the end of my order, he called me ma’am. I honestly had to look around for the gray-haired lady he was referring to as “ma’am.” Hmph! I’m not a ma’am, I’m **only** 34.

    Thirty’s the new 20, 40’s the new 30 – you’ve heard all the anti-aging cliché phrases that make you feel a little better about getting a lot older. Well, danggit, I’m here to say 34 feels like 34 and 35 is kickin’ me right in the butt – LOL!

  • There’s No Crying in Baseball… Or Business

    Recently on Celebrity Apprentice (c’mon you know you watch it) the women’s team, led by pop culture hard nose, NeNe Leakes from Real Housewives of Atlanta (you know you watch that, too), lost to the men’s team led by rapper, Lil John. During Donald Trump’s explanation of how well the men accomplished their task, NeNe Leakes began to cry... a lot. She cried so much that Donald Trump stopped his explanation to the men to comfort NeNe and find out what was bothering her.
